Accessibility statement

RAKIA (by KesemItay) is committed to serving everyone equally, including people with disabilities. We are a small, new, one-person business, and we chose to make this site fully accessible, beyond what is required of a business our size.

The law and the standard

This site follows the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law (1998) and the Service Accessibility Regulations (2013), section 35, based on Israeli Standard IS 5568 (September 2023 edition, part 1 for websites and part 2 for digital documents), which builds on WCAG 2.0 level AA. The site is built to the stricter target of WCAG 2.1 level AA, which also meets the European Accessibility Act.

What is accessible

• Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus.
• Color contrast that meets level AA.
• Alternative text on every meaningful image; decorative images are marked as such.
• Accessible labels on all form fields and clear error messages.
• Proper heading structure and screen-reader support.
• The system setting "reduce motion" is respected: animations stop automatically.
• An accessibility menu on every page (the corner button): bigger text, high contrast, stop animations, readable font, underlined links.
• A "skip to content" link at the top of every page.

What is not yet fully accessible

• The posters shown on the site are images; the text inside them is described in the alternative text but cannot be copied.
• The internal system for clubs (behind sign-in) is being made accessible progressively; every new page is built accessible.
